Pattern Writing for Beginners

Instructor: Heather Storta

Availability: In stock

Have you come up with an original design? Are you intimidated by actually writing the pattern for your design? Don’t be! Pattern writing for hand knits is simply another type of technical writing. Once you know the standards for this type of technical writing, it becomes less intimidating! There are many styles of pattern writing, but most well-written patterns all include the same key items. Join us for this workshop where I will cover what information you need to provide in your patterns, and go over some different ways of presenting your directions. This will *not* be a design class, but a writing class.
